About the project:
The problem of discrimination brings aggressiveness and violence which is a huge issue for nowadays. So we would like to give youngsters the opportunity to have more knowledge in human rights topics experience in differentfields of same issue – discrimination. The idea of youth exchange is to promote peaceful living together and awareness about problems which affect our society.
We are planning to have sessions with our country LGBTQ+ community, have informal workshops, share experience and visit Human Library to getthe one ofthe most unique opportunity to have conversation with people from social groups that are often discriminated or prejudiced against.
One of our aims is to help young people get more information and discoverthat everyone is differentin our world and has a place to live in peace. We wantto show alternative ways of supporting human rights and LGBTQ+ via knowledge rather than pushing and violence but also by hearing their opinion and experience.
At the end ofthe project participants willreceive a lot of new experience and knowledge, but also willreceive brochures which we are going to create alltogetherto conclude the mostimportantinformation and all of our experience to share in our organizations and among our youngsters in each participants’ countries. So.. Each different view is welcome to us!
Aims and objectives:
TO PROMOTE THE IDEA OF PEACEFUL LIVING BETWEEN EVERYONE IN THE WORLD AND SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS IN ALL SOCIAL GROUPS THAT ARE OFTEN DISCRIMINATED AGAINST TO BE ABLE TO FIGHT FOR IT AND SHARE THE INFORMATION IN FUTURE AMONG OTHERS.

Participant profile:
-Young people at age 18-26 years old interested in acquering new competences in the field of gender equality, gender issues nad Human library.
-Age limit for the group leader 20 -30 years old

Insurance, Travel and Finances:
Travel:
This exchange is financed by the «Erasmus+» Programme. It means thatlimits of yourtravel expenses will be covered by the Estonian National Agency. Please be sure to bring alltraveltickets and boarding passes – withoutthem, it will be difficultto claim money for you!
Reimbursement will be given to group leaders or organization accounts by bank transfer afterthe youth exchange during one month. Reimbursement will be given according to travel costlimit sums. If you spentless than yourtravel limit you will receive this price because we need for each given sum invoice or bills.
PS! For some countries bank transfers could be very expensive because oftaxes (for example, Georgia, North Macedonia and Bulgaria). We can make an exception in this case for your organization, but all of your docs should be provided to us already during the YE.
What is more, pay attention that we willtake per participant 20 eurforlocaltransportin Estonia. We will book the private bus from Tallinn to the project venue and back. This sum we will cutfrom the travel costlimit sums. See the limit sums below. If you and your group will spend less than the travel cost price, we will not cut 20 eur.
Travel costs: Please note thattravel costs will be reimbursed on the basis of originaltickets, boarding passes and invoices/receipts fortravel. Do notforgetto collect and bring all ofthem. Only cheapest/economy class travel will be reimbursed and public transport.
Insurance:
Medical insurance: procuring a medical insurance valid during your stay in Estonia is your own responsibility. Our national agency is not providing this money in the projects. European Union citizens are entitled to have an European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) which you can getforfree from your health authorities and you can use in Estonia and in any other EU countries as well. Anyway, you can also choose private insurance forthe duration of your stay (it should not cost more than 10 EUR depending on the provider and issuing country). Although it might be not mandatory to enter Estonia, if you choose to not have a health insurance you need to be ready to cover any medical related cost. We strongly encourage you to get a medical insurance for your stay!
Accomodation and Venue:
NB!!! PLEASE KNOW THAT THE TOTAL DURATION OF THE EXTRA STAY SHOULD NOT EXTEND 2 DAYS –MEANING ( 1 DAY BEFORE AND 1 AFTER, OR 2 DAYS BEFORE OR 2 DAYS AFTER)
Tickets with longer extra stay will NOT be reimbursed, unless they are approved by the coordinator.
We will stay in Tammispea, in youth suburban camp Vihasoo, located in the Lahemaa National Park and natural protected area. This is a wonderful place which is located nextto the Baltic sea (100m). We will be accommodated in cottages with the capacity of 4-6 persons. Ourrooms are clean and simple but do not have unsuited bathrooms. They will be in separate houses. On the territory we have two wooden session rooms, sport places for volleyball and basketball, dining room, fireplaces and nearby also the sea! Bed linen and smalltowels are provided. Wi-Fi is available. Everybody will have the opportunity to use it. Full board is provided during the youth exchange, additional snacks or sweets the youngsters can buy in the camp in the small shop. For adults (people who are over 18 years old will be able to buy beer or wine). ! There are no alcohol percentage restrictions butthe alcohol is allowed to be used only afterthe sessions and with the rule of responsible drinking!

The last nights ofthe Youth Exchange we will have in the capital of Estonia in Tallinn.
We are responsible to meet each group and pick you up at a place where transfer will be organized. Arrival in Tallinn – 13 th November 2022 (Dinneris the first meal atthe camp) .Departure from Tallinn- 21th November 2022 (early breakfastin the Hostel in Tallinn)
Transferfrom Tallinn to Tammispea village will be provided on the 13th of November. We willtell you the exacttime after all of you will buy tickets. 21th of Novemberis a departure day. We will be in Tallinn, because last night we will have accommodation in the Hostel in Tallinn because of visiting the Human Library event.
Аfter all participants have arrived,the whole group will be taken by a bus or by carto the location of our youth exchange. This finalride is going to take about one hourfrom Tallinn (70 km). Please carry a contact phone number on you at all times and have your mobile fully charged forthe travel days!
Food:
Youth Club Active will provide participants with three meals per day and two coffee breaks. Special needs: Any special food diet must be previously informed to the organizers. Please, make sure that we know about your special diet.
Extra nights: Forthose who come earlier(before 13 November 2022 or/and leave later (after 21 November 2022 unfortunately the project cannot coverthe extra nights and food. If yourflights are earlier orlaterthan the project dates, you will have to find accommodation for yourself. Of course you can always contactthe organizers to help you in finding a place to stay. The first provided meal will be the dinner on 13th November 2022. On 21 November 2022 the breakfast will be provided.
Vaccination:
VACCINATION STATUS: All participants should be vaccinated in orderto participate in the project. Also pay attention thatif your vaccination data is expired then you need to have boosted vaccination!
