Title: DRY STONE WALL extravaganza
Dates: 15.09 – 15.10 / 2019
Place: ISLAND MURTER
Duration of the service:
Arrival: All participants should arrive at the venue on 14th (afternoon) and 15th of September. On 16th September (Monday) at 9.00 in the morning we will start with our activities, so ALL participants should be in Murter by 15th of September evening.
Departure: The official closing will take place on 11th of October at 14:00. All participants will be free to stay in accommodation until 15th of October (morning). You can use those free days for your vacation (weekend + 2 free days). We would like to remind you that all participants are obliged to take part in the whole duration of the Service.
For 1 month your home town will be Murter. You will be working on archaeological site Colentum and in our NGOs Office, both of which are situated in Murter as well as your house, in walking distance of no more than 10 min.
You will be accommodated in the “Apartments Leonarda”. The address is Put Gradine 18, Murter. There are 3 kitchens all together that 15 of you will share. House has 3 big apartments with kitchen, 2 rooms, living room and one bathroom. Each apartment will accommodate 5 people (2 in each bedroom + 1 in a living room), sheets/blankets are already in the house. There is a Wi-Fi connection in the house and supermarket very close by, open from 7.00 to 21.00.
Food and pocket money:
We will give you money for food each week for previous week, starting with 23rd of September. You will cook for yourselves; as the house where you will be living has 3 kitchens.
You will get the whole amount of pocket money in HRK on the 16th of September (Monday). This should be sufficient for you to live on (so there is no need for you to change large amounts of money in HRK before coming here).
