About the project:
“Create & Grow: NEET Edition” youth exchange addresses the employability challenges faced by young people from rural areas, particularly NEETs, in the post-COVID era. The project aims to foster an entrepreneurial mindset and equip participants with essential skills, knowledge, and competencies to help them navigate these challenges.
Objectives:
-Raise Awareness: Highlight the employability challenges rural youth, particularly NEETs, face post-COVID. This will be achieved through workshops, discussions, and sharing national contexts and personal experiences.
-Promote Entrepreneurship Awareness: Introduce entrepreneurship as a viable solution to youth unemployment in rural areas and an alternative path for NEETs
-Encourage Initiative and Entrepreneurship: Inspire rural NEET youth to pursue self-development opportunities and unlock their potential through entrepreneurial activities.
Participant profile:
-An equal number of both genders;
-Lack of opportunities for traveling abroad due to financial reasons;
-Youngsters with fewer opportunities related to geographic difficulties;
-Youngesters NEETS (not studying not workong);
-The desire to improve skills and acquire knowledge;
-Knowledge of English on a communicative level or a strong desire to learn;
-Priority to participants that will be their first contact with the Erasmus+ program;

Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, North Macedonia, Romania, Netherlands
Accommodation and food:
Our youth exchange will take place in the ancient city of Pompei, in the metropolitan area of Naples. Hotel will be: “Pompei Hostel Deluxe”, and restaurant will be located at 2 minutes walking from the accomodation: the meals will be made with love and the dietary needs will be followed. However, don’t expect a very diverse menu as the italian-style cooking rather reflects the local cuisine habits. The participants will be sharing a rooms, with a mix of nationalities and the same gender.
Transport:
Maximum travel reimbursement for participant from Bulgaria is 309 EUR
Contribution fee:
Contribution fee of 27,00 euro will be collected from each participant during the project. This way we will ensure the participants have a stake in the project: a contribution from participants to the overall costs of a project helps to create a sense of investment and ownership. In order to reach the quality of the youth exchange and manage all the expenses we need all participants contribution due to the extremely high costs of services of the area the project will take place.
