The Serbian dissemination event took place as part of a larger workshop for language teachers, organized by teacher trainer Dragana Vasilijević-Valent at American Corner Belgrade on May 14, 2025, at 18:00.
At the beginning, I shared insights from my participation in the Training Course “Green Thinking: Changing Habits, Shaping our Future,” held in Bansko, Bulgaria (4–11 May 2025), organized by Alternativi International. This gave participants a first-hand perspective on how Erasmus+ training courses work and the kind of knowledge and experiences they provide.
During the dissemination, a group of 10 teachers was introduced to the various Erasmus+ opportunities available for both young people and adults, with special emphasis on short-term mobilities such as youth exchanges and training courses. Teachers received practical information and a list of useful resources where they could explore upcoming opportunities, including:
– The SALTO Youth website
– The Facebook group Serbia Erasmus Plus
– The Instagram page Erasmus Plus Projects
– The Serbian Telegram community Overthinker Centar
After the short introductory lecture, participants had the chance to ask questions and discuss how these opportunities could benefit their students, schools, and personal professional development.
The event highlighted the importance of connecting teachers with Erasmus+ opportunities, empowering them to act as multipliers and encourage more young people to participate in international learning experiences.
