Dissemination of TC “Green Thinking: Changing Habits, Shaping our Future” in Poland

On Tuesday, May 27, at the Occupational Therapy Workshop on Łukasińskiego Street, I organized a special ecological workshop to celebrate Bee Day.

The session focused on ecology, biodiversity, and green thinking – exploring how each of our daily choices impacts the planet. Participants learned how long different types of waste take to decompose, from something as simple as an apple core to a plastic bottle or an aluminum can. In a lively group game, they worked together to arrange these objects in order, from those that disappear the fastest to those that remain in nature for hundreds – or even thousands – of years.

We also reflected on everyday habits that may seem small, but actually have a huge impact on the environment. Together, we discussed how to:
🌱 Avoid single-use plastics
🌱 Use reusable bags and water bottles
🌱 Choose unpackaged fruits and vegetables

Through these discussions, participants discovered how everything in nature is interconnected:
🐝 Bees pollinate flowers → fruits and vegetables grow
🦜 Birds eat insects
🌳 Trees give us shade and air to breathe
💚 And all of nature sustains human life

The workshop was not only educational, but also inspiring – a reminder that protecting biodiversity starts with simple choices each of us can make every day.
