Dissemination of TC “Green Thinking: Changing Habits, Shaping our Future” in Spain

As part of my national dissemination activities, I presented the project at a meeting in my research center in Elche on Friday, May 16, at 10:00 a.m. The audience consisted of master’s and PhD students, along with my academic advisors.

The purpose of the session was twofold: first, to introduce the Erasmus+ project and the opportunities it offers – including youth exchanges and training courses – and second, to share my personal experience of taking part in the Training Course “Green Thinking: Changing Habits, Shaping our Future,” which took place in Bansko, Bulgaria (May 4–12), organized by Alternativi International.

During the presentation, I shared insights from the training and connected them to the participants’ own fields of study. For example, we discussed how some of the tools and methods learned during the course could be applied not only in daily life but also in research and biotechnology training. This interdisciplinary angle sparked interest and opened up fresh ways of thinking about sustainability within academic contexts.

Another important part of the session was answering practical questions about how to apply for Erasmus+ opportunities. For many in the audience, this was the first time they had heard about such programs, so the discussion became very dynamic. I encouraged them to explore these opportunities for themselves, and I have since taken on a bit of a mentorship role – guiding colleagues on how to make the most of what Erasmus has to offer.

Overall, the event was both informative and inspiring, creating a bridge between international youth work and the academic research community.
