In May 2025, a dissemination activity was carried out at the “Radu Negru” Technological High School in Galați, during the Environmental Protection class. The project was presented to a group of approximately 10 students, who were introduced to the basic concepts of sustainability and ecological thinking.
The students actively participated in two interactive exercises:
– An association test matching different means of transport with their corresponding CO₂ emissions.
– An online questionnaire designed to calculate their personal carbon footprint.
The aim of the activity was to raise awareness of how daily behaviors affect the environment and to encourage students to adopt more responsible and eco-friendly habits. The participants were highly receptive and engaged, contributing with relevant ideas, reflections, and questions throughout the session.
In addition to the student session, the information was also shared with adult learners in the classes we teach, broadening the impact of the dissemination and reinforcing the shared responsibility we all have in protecting the planet by changing harmful habits
