“I think the whole experience is a roller coaster. There are moments of joy, awkwardness, shyness, pressure and success. When you step into an environment like this you immediately start to feel the changes in the atmosphere. It`s actually beneficial. For instance, you use English 99% of the time and it also helps you to be more confident about your communication skills. You make friends and you are out of your comfort zone, so it brings out your social side and skills that you didn`t even know existed. The sessions about the topic help you to understand it better and also see the differences and similarities between the countries. It also helps you to talk openly about the topic and encourages sharing opinions and ideas. The teamwork is also getting easier with every session.
My advice to the others is: Take the opportunity and hold it until the end. Regret the things you didn`t do.”

“This is actually my 4th experience as an Erasmus+ participant. If I start talking about my feelings on this kind of projects I don’t think I’ll ever stop. But long story short. These projects are like small colorful bubbles in my reality. It’s my way of learning my comfort zone and becoming the person I really want to be. Apart from the learning and educational parts, actually the main aim for me is the people I meet that matters the most. There are so many things that you can gain from others. People no matter their nationalities are differently beautiful, talented, funny, full of stories to tell and truly inspiring. So just go for it guys, you’ll meet places, create bonds that can last for a lifetime. We need more of you in our little world.”

“During this project I met a lot of great people and visited a beautiful city I learned to work in a group of people, improve my English skills and of course I also learned about the business.
My message to the others is: Thank you for a great time and hope to see you soon! <3”

“I have always admired volunteering, I have volunteered with many associations back in my country, AISEC, ADCE, AMUD. But my most remarkable experience was in 2017 when I have volunteered as a project manager of our first life on land project Resilience Center to help reduce rural exodus in Konnan village and fight illegal immigration, child labor, and women illiteracy through cultural and educational activities. This allowed me to be invited to the Mo Ibrahim Foundation 2019 which took place in Abidjan, then the Now Generation Forum IGW where I represented my country ”Algeria” in South Africa in 2018. After this, I was selected as a youth representative of Algeria and the MENA region during the Youth dialogue in 2019 at UONGOZI Institute. Furthermore, my experiences in Italy and all around Europe with Erasmus+ projects made me more familiar with the European culture.”
