About the project:
Main goal of youth exchange ‘Let’s get digital’ is to increase digital competences of young people and to develop capacities of youth organizations in this field because being digital in informed and critical way is essential competence of 21st century. To increase digital competences of the participants of youth exchange and young people participating in follow up activities planned to be implemented in local communities of participating organizations; to empower the participants and young people to use Information Society Technology (IST) in smart, critical way for looking for new opportunities to work, to study and to volunteer, to equip the participants and young people by knowledge on various platforms, online tools that they can use to present themselves, to prepare content for various networks including LinkedIn; They will improve set of competencies that they can apply at their daily life while studying or looking for a job e.g. they will have an opportunity to improve their communication skill (in mother tongue and especially in English), their ability of self-expression as well as ability to work in intercultural team, to solve problems, to present own ideas.
Participant profile:
Total 8 participants (together with their group leader)
4 males and 4 females from 18 – 30 years old and group
leader without age limit and attending the full programme
Profile of the participants and their needs:
- To share their knowledge on the area of digital
competences - to increase their critical thinking based on non formal
education and peer to peer learning - to create own media messages;
- to gain experiences of being part of international youth
project; - to learn more about Erasmus + Programme, YouthPass;
- to be open to exchange ideas and opinions in safe and
supportive environment and to share experiences through
visibility and dissemination activities. - preferably attending first youth exchange abroad
to work together with young people from different countries
and cultures;
Participating countries:
Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria, United Kingdom, Romania, Spain
Insurance, Travel and Finances:
Travel: the maximum reimbursement for Bulgarian participant is 180 euro. Participants will receive reimbursement of the tickets in cash during the youth exchange without participation fee.
Accomodation:
Youth Exchange will be held in Kocaeli, Turkey. Participants will be accommodated in shared double/triple rooms in the hotel “Kartepe Park Hotel” www.kartepeparkotel.com All rooms have air conditioning, TV, bathroom, hair dryer, bathroom kit, Wifi 3 Meals and 2 coffee breaks will be served in the hotel
Location: We will share more informations about the way to the hotel on FB group which will be created for this project
Contribution fee:
Participation fee of 40 euro will be deducted from the travel reimbursement.
