About the project:
Recent surveys in Europe show that almost half of young people would prefer to work as selfemployed rather than as an employee (European Commission, 2020). However, very few young people work as self-employed. In 2018, only 6.5% of young people in employment between 20 and 29 were self-employed in the EU. One of the biggest political challenges of the last decade for many Member States has been the youth unemployment crisis. In the EU, the youth unemployment rate peaked in 2013 at 23.7%, but reached much higher levels in several Member States. Furthermore, the gender gap also appears significantly among young self-employed workers.
New Skills: Help participants to improve their soft skills and provide them with new. Through activities, learning to learn and other methods and workshops, participants will have the opportunity to develop new skills
Entrepreneurship: Encourage the active participation, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship among young people and enable them to unlock their potential through entrepreneurship
Multiculturalism: Promote tolerance, mutual understanding and dialogue between young people of different nationalities and dialogue between young people of different nationalities.
Participant profile:
‣ From 18 to 25 years old;
‣ young people from rural areas;
‣ young people who have never participated in Erasmus+ mobility;
‣ young people motivated to acquire new knowledge and skills;
‣ Young people motivated to learn more about entrepreneurship.
Participating countries:
Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, Latvia, Greece, North Macedonia
Insurance, Travel and Finances:
Travel: The Bulgarian sending organization will book the tickets for the participant and than will recive the reimbursement directly from the Receiving organization. The rules for purchesing tickets and the deposit amounts that will be taken from the participants will be refunded uppon arrival in Italy and presenting the boarding documents.
Insurance: Health insurance is not provided and will not be reimbursed by the organizers. All participants are strongly advised to purchase private travel insurance or/and to have a valid EUROPEAN INSURANCE CARD. IMPORTANT:
Due to covid restrictions, the Hotel will only accept guests with double dose vaccine less than 120 days or third dose (BOOSTER).
Food:
Food will be served at the restaurant of the hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will serve 2 coffee breaks (1 during the morning session and 1 during the afternoon session). Please, if you didn’t write your special needs concerning food (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, no pork or any allergies) send us an email to advise us. N.B. For lunch and dinner restaurants will have as first dish pasta (as Italian custom) and a second dish could be meat, fish, salad, etc.
Venue:
TOOLS FOR YOUR SUCCESS will be implemented in the city of Castellammare di Stabia (Naples) from 25th April to 3rd May 2022.
Participants will stay at “Hotel Palma” in Viale Europa, 244, 80053 Castellammare di Stabia NA. Participants will be accommodated in double or triple rooms with participants from different countries but the same gender. Wi-fi internet connection will be available at hotel areas. Accommodation and food for the participants for the whole duration of the project will be provided by the hosting organization. We strongly recommend each participant to inform the ORGANIZERS about any allergies or any health issues – when filling the application form
Contribution fee:
Contribution fee of 25 euro will be collected from each participant. This way we will ensure the participants have a stake in the project: a modest contribution from participants to the overall costs of a project helps to create a sense of investment and ownership as well as participants tend to value what they receive more when they have contributed to. The contribution fee has to be paid directly to the receiving oranzation
