EU solidarity can be understood in many ways – as a society, supporting each other or cultural exchange. So it can be feelings and experiences.
People from different countries can feel like one big society which is diverse but it’s great because we can get to know our culture and be more open-minded. EU solidarity is also supporting each other, for example in pandemic. Supporting in our EU community is not only ad hoc but also in long term – reduce inequality between rich and poor people in Europe. Those are also values like support those in need—the unemployed, the sick, the elderly. EU Solidarity is coneccted with fiscal solidarity what is defined as citizens’ willingness to support indebted European countries financially. Is good to see that EU is not only about a sense of belonging but an actual help when it’s needed. We can say that solidarity is closely connected with responsibility to each other.
