After spending 7 days in Bansko, Bulgaria on Youth Exchange one participant from each country was interviewed and the following questions were asked:
- Why did you choose to come here?
- What’s the most important thing you’ve learnt from the project?
- Who inspired you the most and why?
Here is what they answered:
Italy- Salvatore:

One of the most frequent reason to go to Youth Exchanges is to improve English as Salvatore also mentioned in his interview. He also wanted to have new experiences and learn something new which later he can share with people in his country. As we all know “SHARING IS CARING”! Some of the crucial things he learnt were the definitions in the topic of immigration. As the most inspiring person he mentioned Ewa, one of the participant from the Hungarian team, because he felt good talking to her.
Spain-Elena:

Elena was really interested in the topic of immigration as she is working with refugees and she found it a great opportunity for professional improvement. She also highlighted the importance of debates and the different perspectives of different cultures. She found it useful to talk to participants from other countries and that is why she stated that each person motivated her to learn more and become a prepared person who thinks a lot about the situations.
Turkey-Burak:

Burak wanted to be more aware of the situation of the refugees in the world because in his country it is a current issue. He was interested in how other countries manage the difficulties. He was able to learn many new expressions and definitions around the topic. He was inspired by all the participants and their ideas.
Hungary-Dudu

Dudu decided to participate as he though it is a great opportunity and because of the recommendation of his siblings. Even though he believed that the topic was not interesting enough and was not sure what to expect he enjoyed it very much. By the end of the project he realized that the situation in other countries can be worse and it is much more complicated than he thought. He found the whole group inspiring, kind and open minded. Listening to different opinions and views made him more curious about the topic.
Bulgaria- Rayna

Rayna wanted to try the Erasmus+ projects, she was interested in the topic and wished to make new international friends. Coming here was the perfect option for this. She could engage in different topics with many people from different countries. She found the whole group inspiring and could learn something new from each of the participants. She felt that everyone had something interesting to tell.
Greece- Dimitris

Dimitris decided to travel to Bulgaria to participate in the project as he really likes it and he was excited to make new friends. He finds it interesting that it is possible to mix cultures and it is easy to communicate with people with different backgrounds. He found the Hungarian team inspiring as they always spoke English between each other even when they were alone.
