The #KA2 Strategic partnership projectt Radical Online Education aims to provide #youth workers all the necessary knowledge and tools to help young people develop their critical thinking skills as many of them are exposed to radical propaganda and often make an improper use of internet.
During the meeting, partners discussed the Survey results of the #needs and #challenges on how to identify appropriate steps to counter #radicalization activity #online (A1) and base on these results, we set up the topic of the #elearning materials that will be elaborate from ROE consortium in the upcoming months as:
– Welcome and Introduction: Definitions of radicalization, terrorism and extremism.
– The Radicalization Process: Better understand what makes youth vulnerable to radicalization.
– Behaviors that cause concern: how to act if you suspect someone is being radicalized.
-Online radicalization: Methods of those who wish to radicalize youth on social media.
– Prevent Strategy: Know how to recognize the indicators that radicalization might be taking place and have a clear understanding of their responsibilities.
– How to build online counter-narrative and youth awareness programmes.
-Case studies
