The Digital Photo Contest “United by Football” is being organized by association “Alternativi International” under “Fare network” frame
and their initiative “Football People Action Weeks -05.10 – 19.10.2017”. “Fare network” combats all forms of discrimination, including racism, far-right nationalism, sexism, trans- and homophobia and discrimination against disabled people.The contest is open to all professional and amateur photographers who are willing to take part in. The topic of the contest is “Share with us your inclusive world” and the idea of contest is to show how through art we all are equal no matter our social, religion, sexual status. And to spread the word that discrimination and hate is not the way. By submitting a photo for the contest, enters agree giving the rights to “Alternativi International” to upload the picture in facebook page of the organization as well to use it ONLY for “United by Football” photo contest purposes.
ENTRY PERIOD AND SUBMITING PROCEDURE
The photo contest “United by Football” begins at 12:00am on October 12, 2017 and ends at 11:59pm on October 27, 2017 (the “Entry Period”). Entries need to send maximum 5 photos connected to the topic of social inclusion and no discrimination in maximum two of the following forms of photography.
- Macro Photography;
- Portrait Photography;
- Street Photography;
Entries need to send their pictures to contest.alternativi@gmail.com with subject “United by Football” with the following information:
- Name and Surname;
- Country;
- Description and name of the photo.
Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
VOTING AND AWARD
The organization is going to give 2 awards:
- Public award – the picture received most like in the facebook page of the organization will be the winning one and receive the “Public award”.
- Alternativi award – Alternativi members and photography experts will choose the picture fitting the most topic of the contest and representing best the idea of no hate and discrimination among people.
Entries are allowed to send their pictures until 11:59pm on October 30, 2017. Meanwhile public and team voting will continue to 10.11.2017
RESULTS
The results are going to be announced by 15.11.2017 in the official facebook page of the organization (https://www.facebook.com/alternativi.international/) and web site as well (http://alternativibg.org/)
