Alternativi Team is glad to welcome 40 young people from 8 countries as part of the youth exchange “All in the same boat”.
The main topics of the project are related to human rights, hate speech, discrimination, youth activism. The youth exchange is part of 3 phase mobility project taking places in Portugal, Bulgaria and The Netherlands. The participants are coming from Bulgaria, The Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Portugal, Finland, Italy, Czech Republic and will spend 9 days in Bansko, Bulgaria from 22 until 31 of May.
The young people will discuss the issues of discrimination, prejudice, intolerance and raising hatred in nowadays society as well as tackle the refugee crisis and raising hate speech against them. The participants will also organize a public event-a flashmob and graffiti workshop in order to engage more local people and raise awareness about the topics and promote tolerance, solidarity and intercultural and interfaith dialogue.
