The EVS volunteers of Alternativi International has created the current video that reflect on their ideas, views and thoughts about hate speech. Over the month that they spend in Blagoevgrad as volunteers they had the chance to discover in dept terms like Hate speech, racism, xenophobia, prejudice, stereotypes and discrimination. During the activities we have also introduced the No Hate Speech Movement of Council of Europe, the tools provided by the Council such as (Bookmarks, Compass, We can and etc) which could help the volunteers in their future work with young people anywhere in the world. Apart from that during the activities we had a lot of role play game, theater, presentations which helped the participants to acquire skills, knowledge and competences on the topic.
With the current video would like to raise awareness among the wider audience about the topic of Hate speech and it’s consequences that could lead to negative actions.
Alternativi International team would like to spread the message tolerance, equality and to encourage young people and whole society to say “NO to the HATE SPEECH”
The project Volunteers 4 Tolerance is coordinated by Sdruzhenie Alternativi International and it’s funded by Erasmus + program, administrated in Bulgaria by Human Resource Development Center.
