About the activity:

This cross-contextual observation aims to assess the impact of game-based learning across varied conflict scenarios involving Gen Z, fostering a comprehensive exchange of insights on tailoring the escape room approach to engage and educate diverse youth groups effectively. The primary objective of these job shadowing activities is to foster a comprehensive capacity-building environment among the project partners in peace building through game based learning and allowing them to enhance the quality of services they provide for GenZ youth. By enabling them to test and observe the application of the escape room methodology in diverse contexts in the previously established PeaceLabs within each partner, the initiative aims to facilitate a rich exchange of insights and practices. Each partner organization works with young people from various backgrounds, often within conflict-affected communities. Through direct observation and engagement, partners can see firsthand how the methodology resonates with Gen Z youth from different cultural and social settings.
