In December 2024, the Turkish team successfully organized a dissemination session at a university classroom in Ankara as part of the Erasmus+ project “Action for Civic Transformation (ACT)”. The activity gathered over 20 university students from various faculties, including education, social sciences, and international relations, who were introduced to the project’s aims, outcomes, and opportunities for youth engagement.
During the session, the team presented the main goals of the ACT project — promoting active citizenship, critical thinking, and civic participation among young people across Europe. They shared insights and experiences from the international training course and workshops, highlighting the interactive methodologies used such as non-formal learning, role-plays, and simulation games.
Participants discussed examples of civic initiatives from partner countries and brainstormed ideas for local youth actions that could make a positive social impact in their communities. The event concluded with an open Q&A session and distribution of informational materials about Erasmus+ and the ACT project.
This dissemination activity contributed to raising awareness about the importance of civic engagement among university students in Ankara and inspired several participants to express interest in joining future Erasmus+ youth projects.
