About the project:
The project aims to empower young people to become active supporters of environmental sustainability through non-formal education, outdoor learning, and nature-based experiences. Participants will explore environmental challenges, sustainable lifestyles, biodiversity, and responsible consumption through interactive workshops, discussions, and practical activities. Guided hikes and outdoor workshops will help participants reconnect with nature while promoting physical and mental well-being. Throughout the mobility, participants will discover how everyday actions can contribute to environmental protection and will develop the knowledge, skills, and motivation to promote sustainable practices within their local communities.
Project Goals
– Increase participants’ awareness of environmental challenges and sustainable development.
-Encourage environmentally responsible habits and sustainable lifestyles.
-Strengthen participants’ connection with nature through hiking and outdoor learning experiences.
-Promote physical and mental well-being through nature-based activities.
-Develop teamwork, intercultural cooperation, and active participation through non-formal education.
-Empower young people to become ambassadors of sustainability and inspire positive environmental action in their communities.
Participant profile:
-5 participants and 1 youth leader from each country
-Be 18–30 years old. There is no age limit for group leaders.
-Be legal residents of their respective countries.
-Have a sufficient level of English to actively communicate, collaborate, and participate in project activities.
-Be interested in nature, hiking, environmental sustainability, and intercultural learning.
-Be open-minded, willing to share experiences, participate in discussions, and contribute to a respectful and inclusive group environment.
-Contribute to a balanced and diverse group, with gender balance encouraged among participants.
-Be in good general health and able to walk for several hours on uneven terrain.
-Have a basic level of physical fitness and endurance suitable for medium-difficulty hikes.
-Be comfortable spending extended periods outdoors in changing weather conditions.
-Be willing to actively participate in all project activities and support fellow participants in an international group.
Accommodation and food:
The participants will be accomodated in : ANDY GRAND HOTEL
ADDRESS: Strada Trei Brazi 20, 505300 Predeal, Romania
You will be accommodated in rooms designed for double and triple, arranged at the facility provided for your stay. Separate bedrooms will be designated for female and male participants, ensuring privacy.
Transport:
The maximum travel budget for participant from Bulgaria is 211 euro.
