About the project:
InnovatorsLab is an innovative initiative designed to revolutionize peacebuilding and conflict transformation education for Generation Z through the power of game-based learning methodologies, including interactive formats like escape rooms.

About the activity:
During the activity, job shadowing participants will join a larger international learning group of around 30 youth workers and participants from different countries. They will have the opportunity to experience APY’s peacebuilding work both as participants and observers, while exchanging practices with young people and youth workers from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
The activity will allow job shadowing participants to:
-Observe and experience APY’s non-formal education and peacebuilding methods in practice
-Take part in selected sessions on conflict analysis, non-violent communication, mediation, intercultural dialogue, and youth work for peacebuilding.
-Explore how game-based learning and escape room methodology can support conflict resolution, empathy, cooperation, and critical thinking among Gen Z youth.
-Reflect on how safe youth spaces, such as APY’s Alternative Youth Center and community-based youth initiatives, can support young people’s capacity building and participation.

Participant profile:
-1 youth worker/youth leader from Bulgaria with interest in game-based learning and peacebuilding tools
Participating countries:
Bulgaria, Romania, Armenia, Georgia and TĂĽrkiye
Accommodation ,food and travel:
During the Job Shadowing activity, the participants will be accommodated in the youth center in Alapars, Armenia. There will be shared bathrooms, and rooms for 4-6 people. There is a washing machine in the location. The location is providing with bedsheets and linen. Please make sure to bring your towels and toileteries. During the activity, food will be prepared by experienced cooks, provided at the venue. Three meals and two coffee breaks per day will be provided. The cleaning will be organized by relevant staff.
