About the project:
Recent polls in Europe show that more and more people feel less European, and little by little prefer to embrace anti- European and nationalist policies. Pandemic from COVID19, war in Ukraine by Russia with related energy and economic crisis, Brexit. All these episodes, which have taken place in the last 2/3 years, are completely changing the lives and thoughts of citizens, especially young people, who feel lost and confused. After participating in a project last September, a group of young people from different European countries decided to write their own project and try to give an answer to these young people.
NEW SKILLS
Help participants to improve their soft skills and provide them with new. Through activities, learning to learn and other methods and workshops, participants will have the opportunity to develop new skills.
VALUES
Promote young people’s understanding of the European Union and European citizenship.
VOLUNTEERING
make young people aware of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program and the European Solidarity Corps and encourage their participation.
Participant profile:
‣ From 18 to 25 years old;
‣ group leader no age limit;
‣ young people from rural areas;
‣ young people who have never participated in Erasmus+ mobility;
‣ young people motivated to acquire new knowledge and skills;
‣ Young people motivated to learn more about volunteering.
‣ Be in possession of a European Health Insurance Card or equivalent.
Participating countries:
Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Portugal, Spain
Accomodation and Food:
“Active: Active Crew To Inclusive View of Europe” will be implemented in the city of Castellammare di Stabia (Naples) from 18th to 25th April 2023. Participants will stay at “Vesuviana Inn Hotel” in Via Solaro Nuova, 13, 80053 Castellammare di Stabia NA. Participants will be accommodated in double or triple rooms with participants from different countries but the same gender. Wi-fi internet connection will be available at hotel areas. Accommodation and food for the participants for the whole duration of the project will be provided by the hosting organization. We strongly recommend each participant to inform the ORGANIZERS about any allergies or any health issues – when filling the application form.
Food will be served at the restaurant of the hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will serve 2 coffee breaks (1 during the morning session and 1 during the afternoon session). Please, if you didn’t write your special needs concerning food (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, no pork or any allergies) send us an email to advise us.
N.B. For lunch and dinner restaurants will have as first dish pasta (as Italian custom) and a second dish could be meat, fish, salad, etc.
Travel:
The travel will be held and organized by the sending organization for the whole Bulgarian team.
Contribution fee:
A fee of 40 euro will be collected from each participant during the youth exchange. This way we will ensure the participants have a stake in the project: a contribution from participants to the overall costs of a project helps to create a sense of investment and ownership. In order to reach the quality of the youth exchange and manage all the expenses we need all participants contribution due to the extremely high costs of services of the area the project will take place.
