During this time, Alternativi International has created a career guidance program which consisted of 10 different modules, tackling different topic, related to boosting young people`s career prospects and give them the right guidance at the right time. The program involved about 25 young people from Bulgaria, aged 16 to 19 years old, who got the opportunity to explore more about the:

-personal qualities and characteristics-defining individual strengths, talents, interests
-dream career
-defining dreams and goals, getting to know the SMART GOALS methodology

During the program, the young participants were able to first of all get to know themselves a bit better, were able to define their interests, talents, passions, dream careers, to get understanding of modern job market requirements, as well as how to write good CV and motivation letter, how to behave during a job interview trough simulation games, some additional career guidance toolkits and materials. During the program, the young people had opportunity to meet up with professionals-HR, career coaches and experts, trainers, ex volunteers, young entrepreneurs that also had shared their experience and added an extra value for them .
Apart from that they also learnt about different opportunities, supporting education, mobility and entrepreneurship that could give them extra tools and ways for self-development and acquiring skills.
We believe, the project was successful as all the participants shared that each of them took a different valuable piece of information and knowledge, they all became more aware of their own characteristics, skills, dreams and goals, more informed thus more empowered and ready to cope with todays modern job market.
