Alternativi International has started a new local project “Volunteer Academy” financed by Ministry of Youth and Sport of Bulgaria trough National Youth Program. The main aim of the project is to encourage volunteering spirit among high school students trough launching volunteer clubs in schools in Blagoevgrad, Razlog and Kocherinovo. The project was presented in high schools in the 3 cities among more than 200 students. More than 70 youngsters joined the Alternativi club and will be part of a social change trough volunteering. In November the new members will be part of training for leadership and organizational skills and planning some local initiatives.
