Experience in Croatia “EVS as one more step towards inclusion”

From 25.06.18 to 04.07.18 three participants from Bulgaria took part in the training course “EVS as one more step towards inclusion” in Kastel Kambelovac, Split, Croatia. 30 participants from 9 countries – Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia, Estonia, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey and Romania were discussing the opportunities and the problems connected with the EVS – European Volunteer Service and the European Solidarity Corps with a special focus on developing programs for supporting young people with fewer opportunities. In Split they had a visit in the mayor’s office, a meeting with the County Council of Split-Dalmatian County and a study visit to a NGO. The participants extended their knowledge about the Erasmus+ Programme in general and in particular  topics connected with the volunteer service such as mentoring and applying for an accreditation. During the time spent in Croatia the participants presented their cultures during the intercultural evenings. Last but not least they could manage to create partnerships on a European Level, which might be helpful for them for creating future projects.
