About the project:
Tourism, a key contributor to global GDP and a generator of employment, faces challenges such as environmental pressure, infrastructure saturation and economic inequality. This project, focused on youth education and empowerment, seeks to promote sustainable tourism. By involving young people in the discussion and solution of these problems, a generation that is more aware and committed to responsible tourism practices is encouraged. The objective is to raise awareness about the impacts of tourism and develop skills to lead equitable tourism, benefiting the economy, society and the environment. It thus contributes to global sustainable development.
Participant profile:
- The project is open to young people from diverse fields, with a particular focus on those engaged in long-term initiatives. Participants must be residents or citizens of one of the partner countries.

Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Bulgaria and Italy
Accommodation and food:
Accommodation, food and activities’ materials: 100% covered by the Erasmus+ Programme. The travel from your hometown to Alicante and back is covered by the project budget up to a limit. This limit is set by the Erasmus+ Programme rules and calculated using the Erasmus+ Distance Calculator tool. Maximum travel budgets are specified in the table above.
The project will be hosted in the Hostel La Florida, located in one of the main university areas of Alicante. The address is Av. de Orihuela, 59, 03007 Alacant.

Maximum travel reimbursement for participant from Bulgaria is 309 EUR
