Dates: 30 April – 8 May 2022

Place: Castellammare di Stabia, Italy

About the project:

Racist and xenophobic sentiment, violence and discrimination have increased dramatically with the Covid-19 pandemic, especially racial attacks against Asians and people of Asian descent, this has also been certified by Human Rights Watch. Due to the easy access to social networks and their impact on young people, they are extremely influential. This is often the result of poor media literacy and insufficient discussion on the subject in schools and universities. The idea of the exchange was born during the regular meetings of our local club “No Hate” made up of 15 young people and activists from the province of Naples, who are active in the protection of human rights.

Knowladge: Raise awareness among young people about hate speech and cyberbullying as a violation of human rights.
