About the project:
Creating Volunteering Circles is a Contact Making Seminar that will gather in total 27 youth workers (involved or interested in voluntary projects in Europe, Coordinators, ex EVS volunteers, project managers etc.), plus 2 qualified trainers from 9 European countries. Greece. Aim is to build a strong partnership, understand the ESC concept and its importance and to improve the capacity of practical realisation of voluntary projects in the frames of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programme.
1.To bring together youth workers implementing volunteering projects and other actions in their organizations and to provide a meeting point for organizations to exchange information, to establish international partnerships and to support quality partnership development.
2.To understand the concept of international volunteering and European Solidarity Corps.
3. To explore how Erasmus + Key actions can be implemented in order to support volunteering
4. To find ways to promote European Solidarity Corps in local area and to promote implementation ofvolunteering projects.
5.To raise awareness of the learning dimension in volunteering and provide tools for learning support
6.To offer a participatory program of activities enriched with a variety of methods
7.To create new volunteering projects within the partner organisations and to exchange volunteering opportunities.
The project is aimed at youth workers involved or interested in voluntary projects in Europe, Coordinators, ex EVS volunteers, project managers. Each partner is asked to sent 3 participants, please check the table below for more info.
-have some experience with Eurpean Solidarity Corps (EVS) as participants, organisers, project managers and have the will to organise Solidarity projects
-be able to work and communicate in English
-be connected or associated with the partner organisation
Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Greece and Portugal
Insurance, Travel and Finances:
Travel costs for Bulgarian participant will be covered up to 180 euro
The seminar will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece at PHILIPPION hotel. All participants will be accommodated at the hotel. https://www.philippion.gr/EL/i ndex.php Participants will stay in rooms of 3 participants from different countries but same gender. Workshops will take place at the accomodation facilities. Meals will be served at the hotel restaurant.
