About the project:
Art and Nature walks is a project that stems out of a need for connecting with nature, and exploring it through different lenses. It’s about collaborating, exchanging, and investigating the wonderful natural world we live in, and creating what that beauty inspires in us.
or 7 days, including 2 days of travel, we will be nested in Vienna, close to the banks of the Danube river. We will go on walks, gather amazing materials gifted to us by nature, and discuss. Not just that… But we will also create. Together. As we exchange and learn about each other. Our week will culminate the collaborative creation of a mural.
Objectives:
-The project aims to raise awareness of the beauty and importance of nature, fostering a sense of responsibility for environmental protection. It offers young participants the chance to express themselves through various forms of art, including painting, street art, and music.
-Through collaborative group projects—most notably the creation of a large mural—it encourages teamwork and creative cooperation.
-A key focus is on social inclusion, ensuring that disadvantaged youth have equal access to cultural and artistic experiences.
-Finally, the project supports self-discovery and helps young people strengthen creative skills that can empower them to participate more confidently in the labor market.
Participant profile:
-5 participants and 1 youth leader from each country
Participants will be selected based on their interest in environmental sustainability, creativity, and willingness to actively engage in collaborative and intercultural exchange. A strong motivation to learn, contribute, and participate in group activities—while demonstrating openness, responsibility, and alignment with the project’s values of transparency and environmental awareness—is essential.

Austria, Türkiye, Bulgaria, The Republic of North Macedonia, Poland.
Accommodation and food:
Accommodation and food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for the duration of the activities will be covered by Xsentrikarts – the receiving organization.
All participants will be accommodated at the Jugendgästehaus Wien & The Brigittenau Youth Palace Adalbert-Stifter-Straße 73, 1200 Wien, Austria
The hostel offers bedrooms with a capacity of 2 in each room, and guests are generally asked to be grouped by gender. The consumption of alcohol and smoking are not permitted on site.
Towels and bed linens are provided, so you won’t need to bring your own. The bed linen and towels do need to be thrown into the laundry chute when
departing. 22:00 to 6:00 am is “nachtruhe” (quiet hours)

Maximum travel reimbursement for participant from Bulgaria is 309 EUR
