Newsletter under TC “Green Thinking: Changing Habits, Shaping Our Future”

Our Erasmus+ Training Course “Green Thinking: Changing Habits, Shaping Our Future” in Bansko, Bulgaria, brought together youth workers and young people from across Europe for a week of discovery, action, and reflection on sustainability. The newsletter we prepared captures some of the most memorable activities and learning moments from the project.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll find inside:

🔎 Scavenger Hunt – participants kicked off the training with a playful and interactive activity designed to explore sustainability concepts in a fun way.

🗣 Socratic Walk – deep conversations in nature encouraged reflection on the role of technology, habits, and individual responsibility in shaping a greener future.

🌍 The 3 Pillars of Sustainability – an engaging session exploring the environmental, social, and economic dimensions that underpin sustainable development.

🌐 Intercultural Evening – one of the highlights of the week, where food, dances, games, and traditions from all participating countries created a true spirit of unity.

🎭 Participants’ Workshops – from ecology in literature to waste management and creative green games, participants became trainers and shared their own expertise.

🇪🇺 The European Green Deal – a session on EU-level actions and commitments, helping participants connect their local initiatives to the bigger picture.

👩‍💼 Meet the Expert – an inspiring talk with a sustainability professional, offering practical insights into communication, activism, and advocacy.

⛰ Hike and Meditation – reconnecting with nature through outdoor activities that combined physical movement, fresh air, and mindfulness.

📊 Outcomes of the Project – from videos and presentations to a magazine and booklet, participants co-created educational resources to multiply the impact of the training in their own communities.

The training course was much more than just learning – it was about building a network of motivated changemakers ready to lead sustainability initiatives at home and across Europe.
