We are proud to present the brochure of our Erasmus+ training course “Green Thinking: Changing Habits, Shaping Our Future”, which took place in Bansko, Bulgaria. The project brought together youth workers and participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, North Macedonia, Spain, Portugal, Egypt, the Netherlands, and Serbia for a seven-day journey of learning, exchange, and action towards a greener future.
The training focused on cultivating green skills, changing everyday habits, and integrating digital tools to foster environmentally conscious actions. Participants explored key sustainability concepts such as the zero waste lifestyle and the decomposition time of everyday materials, while also taking part in creative activities like the Fight for Ecotopia roleplay, the Environmental Alphabet Game, and a Socratic Walk where they debated sustainability, the role of technology, and good practices from their countries.
One of the highlights of the week was the intercultural evening, where participants shared food, music, dances, and traditions from their cultures, creating a true spirit of unity and diversity. They also designed and delivered their own workshops on topics such as waste management, green forests, ecology in literature, and sustainable food choices, showcasing their creativity and expertise.
The outcomes of the project are as practical as they are inspiring. Participants produced educational videos, presentations, a booklet, and even a magazine – all of which will be used to spread the message of sustainability further in their communities.
This training was not only about learning but also about empowerment. It showed how small, simple changes in our daily lives can collectively make a huge difference for the planet. With the knowledge and skills gained in Bansko, participants are now equipped to act as agents of change in their communities and to inspire others to adopt more sustainable lifestyles.
You can explore more details and highlights in our project brochure, which captures the activities, stories, and impact of this unforgettable Erasmus+ experience.
