About the project:
The project aims to create a safe and empowering space for youth workers to embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal development.
- Awareness about mental well-being
- Self-reflection techniques to assess the strengths, emotions, and aspirations
- Setting personal and professional learning goals
- Communication skills
- Empowering personal and professional development
- New methods for mindfulness in youth work
- Creating a digital guide book for youth workers and trainers
- Networking between youth workers and trainers from different organisations
Participant profile:
- Have a high interest in the topic of mindfulness
- Are youth workers, youth leaders, or working with young people in any context
- Are motivated to be actively involved in all project phases (preparation, training and dissemination)
- Are aged 20 or above
- Are able to communicate in English
- Have balanced gender representation
Participating countries:
Finland, Spain, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine, France, Georgia
Accommodation and food:
Accommodation will be at Merimasku, Finland (28 km from Turku). Camping area close to nature. Shared rooms with three other participants of the same gender /mixed nationalities. Each room has a separate bathroom
Reimbursement:
- Each participant is responsible for buying their own tickets (with your support)
- Before purchasing the tickets they need to send us potential routes and costs and wait for our confirmation
- The travel costs will be reimbursed up to the determined limit per country ( 375 euro)
- Reimbursement will be done in Euros on spot
- transport from Turku to Merimasku will be organized for the group
Apart from that to receive your reimbursement you will need to:
1.DELIVERING ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS – You have to send of all original tickets, invoices and boarding passes
2. ATTENDANCE You have to attend all workshops and activities of the project
3. DISSEMINATION You have to create an outcome and promote the results of the project back in your home country
