About the project:
Our main aim is to organize training to raise the quality of youth exchanges by providing youth workers of partner organizations with necessary competences & tools to train group leader’s to support participants in each phase of the project. Participants will be youth workers from partner organizations actively involved in organization activities and eager to gain new competences about group leading. The main aim of the project is to work on youth capacity building by reflecting on self- confidence, leadership attitudes and measures to fight youth unemployment. The focus of the training is to stimulate participants to see themselves as “youth leaders” able to organize, guide, and manage initiatives in favor of the youth they work with and their local communities. Our main goal is to organize a training course to raise the quality of youth exchanges by providing youth workers of partner organizations with necessary competences & tools to train group leader’s to support participants in each phase of the project.
Objectives:
– To create a common understanding about good quality youth exchange and the role of group leader among partners
– To give partner organizations competences to train their local youth workers to be able to be group leaders in youth exchanges and support their group in preparation, implementation, follow-up and evaluation of youth exchange
– To exchange good practices how to deal with conflicts and danger situations during youth exchanges and how to mediate them
– To support group leaders to facilitate the learning process of participants -To improve the capacities of youth workers by providing skills and knowledge in the fields of leadership and individual capacity building; by encouraging reflections about the role and competencies of the youth worker; by inspiring the definition of explicit personal objective to improve their work (self-improvement)
-To bring participants to adopt an analytical approach to the skill recognition
Participant profile:
-Participants communicating efficiently in English;
-Aged 18+, having strong motivation to participate fully in all activities.
-Willing to multiply the results of the project. Willing to contribute to disemination of project’s results
-Participants should be motivated and open minded, ready to participate in a non-formal learning experience, positive and proactive.
-Participants have to be ready to take part in project’s local actions and later implement future actions in their own countries/communities.
-Young people seemed to be disadvantaged (i.e. young migrants, young people who have dropped out from school, other young people lacking of soft skills, unemployed youngsters).

Spain, Cyprus, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania
Transport:
We ask you to plan your travel in a way to be at the program venue on September 10th at 10 PM the latest and leave September 18 th 2024 in the morning. If you want to come earlier and/or leave later than expected it can be maximum 2 days before the project and 2 days after the project, but in that case please keep in mind that we cannot cover the costs of longer stay accommodation, meals and etc.
Important Note: Please keep in mind, that you cannot arrive/depart to Ercan (ECN) airport as it is located on the Turkish side and government of Cyprus does not recognize the airport as a legitimate port of entry. You can use for your arrival and departure either Larnaca (LCA) or Paphos (PFO) airports in Cyprus.
Important Note: ALL participants of TC must travel from their home country to Cyprus. This is the new rule we have from National Agency and ERASMUS+. We cannot host people who come from a different country and not from their home country. Of course you can flight from a different country but your trip must start from your country. As an example a person from Slovakia can go to Greece by bus or train and take a flight from Greece to Cyprus. But we need also the bus or train tickets which confirm that he starts his journey from his country.
TRAVEL, ACCOMODATION, REIMBURSEMENT HEALTH INSUANCE :
Unit costs of your travel expenses (see table above) will be covered by the organizers with the support of ERASMUS+ programme. Please note: only cheapest means of transport/fares are subject to reimbursement. In order to receive this money for transportation, please keep ALL original invoices, tickets, boarding-passes or any other transport document. The money will be reimbursed after submitting all the original documents via bank transfer, upon completion of the Mobility Tool+ by all the participants (considered mandatory under the Erasmus+).
Accommodation: The accommodation will be in Journalistic village Pervolia. Is a nice center next to the sea. It contains a conference room, restaurant and flats fully equipped with kitchen, TV, salon, shower and Wifi Internet. Is only 100m from the beach, 2 kilometres far from Larnaka airport and 5 km from city center.
Participation fee: There is a participation fee of 20 EUR to cover for extra costs and 2 day trips to other cities of Cyprus and other organizational costs.
