About the project:
The beginning of 2020 was marked by a new dimension of the migration crisis – Turkey has opened the border and thousands of refugees flocked to the borders with Greece and Bulgaria, meeting enormous resistance. on the idea of which the project established the existence of hate speech, intolerance, neutrality and non-acceptance of refugees as a common problem existing in their countries.As young people, we cannot accept this display of human rights violations and lack of European values, namely tolerance, respect for human rights and solidarity. Erasmus +, which brought us together, is the embodiment of these values and we believe that it is through such exchanges, in which young people have the opportunity to discuss such important topics and be inspired, their attitudes can be changed. Erasmus + is for us tool for engaging young people and overcoming stereotypes and prejudices. After participating in the exchange in Bulgaria, we realized our role as active citizens and even activist and through this exchange we want to achieve positive change, namely more young people to realize what it is hate speech, because very often they do not even suspect that they use it, to encourage critical and analytical thinking, so as not to be susceptible and media propaganda against refugees, to understand the processes of migration, to accept the idea of multiculturalism. We plan this exchange to engage other peers, giving them the opportunity to discuss topics that are very often used for propaganda, but not discussed in formal education and therefore the main source of information for young people is the media and social networks, in which hate speech against refugees is widespread. Therefore, we have targeted target groups that are susceptible to media misinformation and propaganda, which have not had the opportunity to participate in mobility under the program, in order to have a significant change in attitudes and to promote a positive attitude and acceptance of refugees and migrants . By educating more people about migration, refugees, human right and promoting tolerance with refugees we will encourage solidarity and social cohesion in Europe.
Main objectives of our youth exchange:
-Allow participants to gain a better understanding about migration-Understanding the processes, reasons and effects of migration processes by young people
– promoting positive attitude and acceptance and understanding towards refugees and migrants
-to help young people understand better what hate speech is, to distinguish it from freedom of expression and providing ways and channels for reporting hate speech online
-informing young people how to effectively combat hate speech to refugees in a peaceful way
-To introduce young people with the No hate speech movement
-To promote tolerance, mutual understanding and dialogue between young people of different nationalities.
Participant profile:
‣ From 18 to 30 years old;
‣ young people from rural areas;
‣ young people who have never participated in Erasmus+ mobility or have less experience;
‣ young people motivated to acquire new knowledge and skills;
‣ Young people motivated to learn more about project topic.
Participating countries:
United Kingdom, Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy and Poland

Insurance: Health insurance is not provided and will not be reimbursed by the organizers. All participants are strongly advised to purchase private travel insurance or/and to have a valid EUROPEAN INSURANCE CARD. IMPORTANT:
Accomodation and food:
Accomodation and food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for the duration of the activities will be covered by the receiving organzation Alternativi International. All participants will be accomodated in Royal Bansko aparthotel , located in Bansko Bulgaria at the follwoing address: ul. “Kosherinata” 2770, Bansko, Bulgaria
