Project description:
The Training Course “Digital tools for youth work” will focus on understanding the digital work of young people, digital teaching and online activism for the concept and elements of NGOs, which present innovative tools that can be applied in daily youth work , sharing good practices from all over Europe, increasing the knowledge and skills of youth workers for the use of digital technologies for better volunteering and more qualified management, online activism, online communication and also to reach more young people from marginalized communities.
By implementing the project we would like to:
- NEW SKILLS- Help participants to improve their soft skills and provide them with new. Through activities, learning to learn and other methods and workshops, participants will have the opportunity to develop new skills
- DIGITALIZATION Increasing digital skills and knowledge to improve volunteering management & online activism.
- NETWORKING Creating a network of youth workers can help them in their daily work.
Participant profile:
-Interested in in the topic of the project
-Young people at age 18-30years old
-Priority will be given to Alternativi International members due to the topic of the project
Partner countries:
Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, Latvia, Greece and Denmark
Accommodation and travel costs:
Accomodation and food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for the duration of the activities will be covered by the receiving organzation Active youth for Europe
Participants will stay at “Pompei Hostel Deluxe” in Via Duca d’Aosta, 4, 80045 Pompei (NA). Participants will be accommodated in triple or family rooms with participants from different countries but the same gender. Wi-fi internet connection will be available at hotel areas. Accommodation and food for the participants for the whole duration of the project will be provided by the hosting organization. We strongly recommend each participant to inform the ORGANIZERS about any allergies or any health issues – when filling the application form.
Contribution:
Contribution fee: 25 euro contribution has to be paid to the receiving organization during the activities of the project.
